What's the recommended number of fan factors and rerolls.... also.... anyone know the best team to smash the enemy into the dirt? I'm thinking goblins.... just because you can get two ogres or trolls, and the regular guys can cheap shot with a bunch of support, and can be dodgy. Any ideas?

In general, it depends on if you are in a one-up game or a league. In either case, I would go with re-rolls. On a $1M budget, my Amazons get like 6 FF and 5RR, which should be enough for anybody.

Hope that helps.

ummm.... aren't rerolls 60k? that would mean you're spending 300k on rerolls..... 60k on fanfactor.... which leaves you with 640k to spend on a team...... I guess if you took a lot of linemen you'd be able to get 11..... but I plan on atleast a couple of guys dying.... and I also plan on taking ogres or trolls... and blitzers.... and things that kill people..... which cost a lot more than a linemen..

Anywho, what's the best team for putting the hurting on the other team? I used to play lizardmen back in the day.... and found that having a team full of strength 4 blockers is nice..... I won a lot, but I'm thinking of keeping the teams restricted to the old world... or just keeping my team restricted to it... seeing as how I am the one running it.

Lizards are good. If you want to go old-world, Orcs & Goblins and Dwarves are both excellent smashy forces. Both mostly win by attrition, beating the other team into the dirt and taking a punch fine thanks to their excellent armor. O&G are faster and more flexible, and thus tend to score more points, but Dwarves start with more skills. Pick whichever appeals to you more.

Norse are also a BRUTAL smashy force with the combo of Frenzy, Jump Up, and Pile On for their Blitzers. I?m not really a fan, though. It seems like a gimmick, and when it works right you're crippling your opponent's team. O&G and Dwarves don't have to put your opponent's whole team into the hospital to get a numbers advantage, because they themselves are so durable.

Dwarves are the best force for hitting people, but are aso extremely hard to do well with. They're too slow to score, and can't handle the ball in any way whatsoever!

Dont take choas, try have too few skills to start with, Anything with block will help, ive seen poeple win most cas with halflings (two tree's and deeproot will do it)

But for league play dwarf, undead, orc, norse anything like that would rock. Lizards ok but they take abit to get going.
