Necrons are the only xenos army that I wouldn't mind running. So, I am trying to build a 1k list that tries to be a bit more close combat oriented while not being completely ineffective in a casual gaming group setting.

With the changes in 7th the vehicles seem much better so I wanted to get in a CCB, Ghost Arc, and a Barge. I also love wraiths, the models are awesome and they remind me of my Deathwing Knights which I run in my 1k DA list.

I will be facing AV11 (1 AV14 LR), some heavy CC units, bolters with lots of 3+ saves, and no fliers or psykers.

I'm not familiar with the effectiveness of Necron weapons so please review my list. C&C is more than welcome.

The scarabs are there to be anti-armor or tarpit cc units attempting to take out the AB.
Small warrior group to be secondary AB protectors or close objective holders.
CCB w/ Overlord can either blob with the warriors for mid-field control or hang with the wraiths.
Wraiths for fast CC rending goodness.
AB is my wildcard.

I could drop down to x3 scarabs for the points.

I like the idea of Kharn or his Berserker retinue getting shackled.

15 warriors in a ghost ark is a waste drop it to 10 and add more wraiths

Your CC effectiveness if necrons is meh at best!!

As an FYI, I find monoliths a bit cheese atm and I hate the models, also not a big fan of pylons.
