Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am creating my own space marine chapter but I'm struggling with the chapter tactics side.

The tactics are as follows:-
Gravatic skill - Models in this detachment with the skimmer rule (either receive +1 or a reroll to jink?) in addition to this they excel at high altitude drops and so benefits from (either 1d6 to scatter rather than 2d6 or a reroll on the deepstrike mishap table?)

Your feedback much appreciated and thanks again for taking the time to read this.

For the second part, I'd just port over the Blood Angels 'Descent of Angels' rule (basically their Chapter Tactics) which gives a re-roll on reserves and a 1d6 scatter for units with Jump Packs. As that's already a rule that fills the same role as Chapter Tactics, no one can really complain about it.

As for the skimmer bit, that's a little more unprecedented. I don't know what's mathematically better, the +1 or re-roll on Jink, but the +1 is similar to the Skilled Rider rule that already exists (Except that's for bikes), so I'd go with that.
