Screeching Screamer of Tzeentch

Hey, so after calling and emailing GW (yes I know it was pointless from the beginning, as they refused to answer rules-related questions over the phone and will not respond to emails about rules either as far as I could tell), I have found it difficult to get a consistent answer to these 2 questions:

How does the new "Chaos Psychic Focus" rule interact with the Chaos Space Marine Marks of Chaos? Do you still have to roll on your respective table once for having a Mark (of Tzeentch/Slaanesh/Nurgle) or does the 'automatically known' Primaris power from 'Chaos Psychic Focus' take its place?

Also, can Crimson Slaughter and Black Legion Detachments be used as an Allied Detachment with Chaos Space Marines? In the Crimson Slaughter and Black Legion Supplements it says that they CAN Ally as Battle Brothers. But in the new 7th Edition Rulebook under the 'Allied Detachment' section it says "All units chosen must have a different Faction to any of the units in your Primary Detachment (or no Faction)." So which is correct?

If you are also not 100% sure of the answer to either of these questions please email GW like I did so that maybe it will be added to their next FAQ's.
Here is their FAQ email: Gamefaqs@gwplc.com
Also, if you are interested in calling them from North America, here is the full list of numbers you have to dial: 011 44 115 91 40000

Well... the thread sort of went off-topic into this question anyway...

1: you have to 'roll' one power from a chaos discipline, so the chaos focus will not count.

2: its weird. They cannot be in an allied detachment to each other. The fact that they are battle brothers doesn't affect this as the same rule applies to all types of detachment.
As it stands you can take units from all the chaos codex's in one combined arms detatchment. The special rules and limitations of the detachment will be determined by your warlord who can be chosen from any character.
(This next bit im not entirely sure on but seems to be the way it would play but I want to check the exact wording)
In practice this prevents a black legion warlord taking crimson slaughter units for the most part, as they have conflicting special rules regarding veterans of the long war. A standard chaos warlord could take both however.
To be honest tho, thats a total rules mess. Just take two combined arms detatchments, and a handful of cultists to make up the compulsory troop.

Its not really that clear. PG 70 says you must 'roll' one power, but page 30 says you must 'generate' one power. Either is equally valid especially considering when the codex was written the two terms were synonymous. I suspect the ruling if/when it is faq'd will require a roll. The codex powers are significantly weaker than the brb ones and chaos won't get to escape them.
