I've been paining a few of the non-hotshot Scions in a scheme of purple armour with silver trim, black under clothes, and yellow weapon sheaths (by that I mean the parts that are not clearly to be metal coloured). When I looked at the power cables for their weapons, I'm debating what to do with them. Do I paint them yellow like the weapons themselves? Should I try to find a colour that doesn't clash with the purple? Or should I cut them off and not worry about it? The lasguns still have power packs if I were to cut them. Thoughts?

Black cables, mabe a black and yellow hazzard pattern on one, a yellow one, red one... I know it's a pain but it may look better than just one color. IMO

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.
