Hello Dakka,

I'd like to ask for some feedback on the Grey Knight. I went for glowing runes, but am not sure if it looks complete. I hedged the bet on the shoulder plate compared to the rest of the armour. Any C&C, particularly suggestions, are welcome.

Looks good, I've not seen the lettering done like that before, but there are a few things I'd add to make it look a little more finished:

The armour probably needs a black/ very dark blue wash in the all recesses to add to the depth, and this will also provide more contrast to the glowing runes by darkening the armour a bit. In general, washes will look far better than flat sliver, and gives a more realistic metallic effect.

I'd change the colour of the purity seals on the shoulder to red, again for more contrast and emphasis on the glow.

The places where you have the glow and also the gold lettering, I'd go over the gold in white/very light blue. If you want it to look like the letters are glowing, it makes sense that they'd be the brightest part. In fact, picking out the lettering in general in a really bright colour will add to the effect.

Personally, I'd also change the colour of the eyes, to make out it's a different light source to the letters. A red would do it and again, add contrast with both the runes and the armour. At the moment, it looks like the electric eye lenses are illuminated by the lettering, which I don't think is what you were going for.

Hope that helps.
