What do you use for measuring an EverLiving to come back from dying in a h2h?
I use a small counter, a coin, 25mm base, bead, etc.
I leave the existing model, whether it's a Cmd Barge, Destroyer or Infantry model, and measure from its base or hull

Scenario:
The EverLiving 'cron dies in h2h and there are no other Crons left. The opponent Consolidates, trying to make sure there's no 3" spot for the robot to be placed if the EverLiving roll goes 4+. Let's say that unit has a big footprint, like a mob of ork boyz, Beast-pack, jetbikes, etc. Odds are, there won't be much room.

With that in mind, how many of you experience the cron player using a counter (say 25mm sized) and then measuring? Or does the player measure from the model itself?

If it is a Destroyer Lord or a lord in a Cmd Barge, the range extends quite beyond what a bead, coin or other small counter would be at the center point of wear the model was.

How do you play it?

The counter has no defined size. so you could techneicly cheese your self and make a 5inch token for all you care.

HIWPI. Use the original models base or flight stand as the location.

All the Necron players I face are veterans of the WBB days, so they just leave the models face down on the table.

This. Push model over, wait for WBB. Or remove it :(

Bump. 17 votes is far too small a sampling.

So, one more go 'round before letting this thread sink.
