So with the release of the new Ork codex I have reached a cross road and need some decision help.
I currently have two armies but I've been considering droping one and focusing on the other.
To give some perspective I have an ork army which includes:
1 warboss
2 big mek
16 nobz
80 boyz
20 lootas
5 burnas
2 battlewagons
2 looted wagons
2 dakka jets
9 kanz
2 deff dreads
3 bikes
8 deff koptas
And a few other odds and ends
The other army i have is Tau:
1 crisis commander
5 crisis suits
6 stealth suits
34 fire warriors
10 pathfinders
1 fire warrior commander
1 pirhanna
3 hammerheads
2 devilfish
I will get rid of one or the other but im having a tough time deciding as i enjoy both.
Please vote and feel free to leave your reasoning on the matter.thanks for the help guys!

If you want to win games lose the orks.
They were in poor shape BEFORE the huge kick to the nads they are getting with the new dex, whereas Tau are still downright beefy.
Orks are far cooler though

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Wait for the new ork codex to be out for a couple weeks, see how people and you play them then decide. I would also seriously consider why you are selling one of the armies, in my experience you tend to lose out in selling them unless you're a great painter, and it's easy to just keep the models in storage until you need/ want them again.

Sell the orks. Lots of folks looking to buy some on the cheap, with a new codex looming.

This x 10. Your tau also dosent seem all that big of a collection. Looks to me like all of the Tau would fill one FOC. Your orks on the other hand is at least 2 by the old book. APOC is covered. I would keep both for a bit.

If you want a game that challenges you to be more tactical and strategic, ditch Tau. If you want an army that plays itself, nearly removing you from the game entirely, get rid of Orks

I don't agree that Tau are so mindlessly easy to play, assuming your have proper terrain set up I noticed Tau have a much tougher time gunning units especially if they are fast like flesh hounds. As for which army to get rid of think about which one you dislike playing and painting the most and get rid of it.

True, Tau aren't as dominant as before. I make sure the game has a great deal of LoS blocking things across the battlefield because, let's be honest, when has war been open field combat since the late middle ages maybe even the early Civil War, though a great deal of fighting was done in cities and forests as well.
The way terrain was set up, it entirely favored gun lines which I find disgusting as you basically hand them the game. The Tau were not designed to sit back all day and free fire, otherwise they wouldn't have so many units that need to actually get in range. Sure they aren't played as often by most as the gunline/riptide is the best thing available for them, but it doesn't really make them bad.

Exactly, I find the proper set-up of terrain incredibly important without it armies like DE might as well not deploy on the table since the outcome is basically decided. Also helps to play something other then just kill everything your opponent has.

Yeah, I remember I played this dude last week who had been around since 3rd if I remember right, had a fit when I insisted we had a proper terrain setup and not one that favored his army, he flat out quit. Made me laugh. Gun line players have one thing going for them, make the board balanced and they don't know what to do.
