Just wondering what you guys think as far as shoulder pad assembling goes for Veteran units. I bought 20 of the Ultramarine shoulder pads and I'm wondering if it would be normal to just use those on ALL of my veteran units left shoulder pad and then use the decorative ones that come on the sprue for the right side shoulder pad?

Thoughts on this??

Seems fair enough to me. That's also going to give you a bunch of ornate shoulder pads for other conversions.

I don't see why you'd think this could be a problem; that's just where the chapter badge goes. A word of warning though: The chapter-specific shoulder pads are largely sculpts from a long time ago and are significantly smaller than regular shoulder pads. The only exception to my knowledge is the Crimson/Imperial Fists bits packs, which were sculpted much more recently.

Wow...I didn't even notice this until you said something here. They are indeed significantly smaller!! Thanks for the info!
