I have been looking at compressors for a few weeks now and I cant help but notice the huge amounts of Paasche D500 compressors on Ebay for rather low prices (<50% MSRP). Most reviews for these come from actual gallery style painting, not the sort of short operation for miniatures painting. Does anyone use this compressor or know if it is a reasonable purchase? Reviews say quiet, but that is relative. Anyone use this sucker, what are your thoughts?

I would get the cheapest compressor you can get that has a tank and moisture trap - I bought an Iwata one which was super expensive, and really, there isn't a lot to them, I could have got a crap compressor and another airbrush.
