So I spotted this fellow in the Gallery a month or two back.

Dunno why but as soon as I saw him I knew I needed one for my IG. Maybe it's the casual pose, a relief from endless poses of screaming bald men waving impractical swords over their heads, or the over the top uniform, or the fact he has the all-important Pot Belly of Authority 2nd edition officers did.

But anyway I immediately ordered 2 of him and (after a slight detour to Red China, opps forgot to update my address in Paypal) got them last week.

He's about a head taller then a Tallarn, but I can accept that for an HQ model. I really, really like the fact the head and iPad are separate bitz allowing for conversion. All models should have separate heads! All of them!

The mandarin collar was a bit of a problem, but a quick V shaped incision allowed me to put in a plastic IG head.

Literally 5 minutes later I had my new Lord Militant (counts as Creed) and Lord Commissar.

The Lord Militant gets a head from the Empire Flagellents, the Commissar gets a tank commander head and Wargames Factory Katana. To tell the truth picking the bitz was the longest part of the conversion.

Thanks to Chris at Full Borer for the great service (and extra bitz!) and hope to see more from them.

Look for these two to be painted some time in late 2015... If I'm lucky.
