I can't seem to find an answer to my question anywhere so I'm here to see if any one can help me.

In the codex it states "The Chosen Champion may take items from the Melee Weapons and/ or Ranged Weapons sections of the wargear list."

So would I be able to exchange his melee and ranged weapons for Dual Power Fists?

.. you can, but never should. Power fist and lightning claw is cheaper and better.

The reason I want to do it is purely for fluff.

I'd let you model two powerfists but only pay for one powerfist and one lighting claw, and allow you to choose to use the lightning claw profile as well.
