so plastic soldier company makes some great russians that are single piece in plastic and i was hoping that someone might have a source for some germans?
i have a hard time lately assembling minis especially when they are in as many piecesd as warlord games germans.

i know that i could go metal but i thought id ask about plastic. PSC plastic russians are actually pretty nice and a great price.

so... anyone ever seen single piece plastic germans in 28mm?

Do you use plastic glue or super glue when you assemble plastics?

You should try plastic glue. It makes assembling plastics a lot easier.

It depends on the minis, but typically that's the case. Most plastic minis are polystyrene plastic. "Plastic glue" is polystyrene cement, and basically welds two pieces of polystyrene together. The bond is easier to fashion than super gluing two pieces together. And the resulting bond is stronger because of the weld. The drawback is that too much glue will cause the affected areas to melt, possibly causing loss of detail. But with just a small bit of care this shouldn't be an issue.

The thing to keep in mind is that not all plastic miniatures are polystyrene. Most of them are, but some aren't. For instance, the plastic War Machine figures that Privateer Press makes aren't polystyrene. And plastic glue won't do anything at all with those figures. You'll need to use super glue with them instead.

All Warlord Games and Wargames Factory plastics are styrene, no PVC.

Somewhere in south-central England.

If you want single piece figures why not just buy metal? There must be a good choice on the market.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

there are great choices in metal however i was hoping for plastic since they tend to be cheaper.
if they dont exist thats fine... i just wanted to throw this out there for a broader audience.

I'm thinking he's trying to make a big army, so he's looking at plastic for its cheaper price and resistance to paint chipping.
