I'm in the final stages for my kickstarter and I need some help with one of the trays.

I want to make a cavalry tray and the only cavalry models I have are chaos knights (actually chaos marines posing as TWC).

There are many different cavalry models in the fantasy range, so I want to get a medium length to make the slots.

If any of you could be kind enough to measure the full length of your cavalry (from the tail to the tip of the lance etc) and post them here that would be great.

At the moment I am coming up with 36mm x 80mm and if I did this I would be able to fit 18 cavalry but I feel it may be to short. However I could alter it and fit 14 cavalry at 36mm x 100mm but that may be too big?

Your post is a little unclear. I assumed you meant movement trays, and I see namiel assumed the same thing. But then your measuring everything wouldn't make any sense.

So I checked your signature link, and I now understand that it's carrying trays you're talking about. You should make that clear in your post to get some replies.

Yes I mean storage foam trays I should have been clearer.

Not sure what the typical size of a full unit would be ive seen anywhere from 5-7 in a single row to 10 in 2 rows of 5. You'll need to take into consideration lance weaponry extending the depth of the unit

From another forum 100mm seems to be the maximum length which the tray can support up to 12 and then 6 smaller slots which isn't too bad.
