Looking to start an empire army and waning to do an all mounted list

Heres what ive come up with for c&c

Lords
Grand Master, Shield, Runefang, The Other Tricksters Shard = 259pts (1+/6++ Parry)
Battle Wizard Lord, Lvl 4, Preservation, Dispell Scroll = 270pts (4++)
Lords total = 529pts

Hero’s
Captain of Empire, BSB, Full Plate, Great Weapon, War Horse, Barding, Dragonhelm, Dawnstone = 148pts (IC Knights) (1+/2++ Flaming) rerollable armour
Hero’s Total = 148pts

Core
10 Archers – 70pts (Wizard)
5 Knightly Orders, Musician= 110pts
5 Knightly Orders, Musician = 110pts
13 Knightly Orders, Inner Circle, FC, Steel Standard = 390pts (GM + BSB)
Core Total = 680pts

Special
5 Reiskguard Knights, Standard = 145pts
4 Demigryph Knights, Musician, Standard Bearer= 252pts

Celestial Hurricanum

Looks solid. What lore you running on your wizard? Also remember you don't get a parry A. when mounted & B. when using a magical weapon. So your grandmaster is both of those. Besides that is looks good.

I would recommend taking balthazar gelt in this list, drop the grand master down to bear bones with FPA, shield, and if you still have points take sword of striking for the +1 to hit. I find the runefang to be underwhelming when not on Karl franz.

Naw, man. You have to double down on the runefang. Potion of foolhardiness + savage beast of horros = 8 runefang attacks.

I will argue against the hurricanum, though. I've just never liked them. IMO you're better off throwing a couple of cheap warrior priest w/ GW's in your knight units. They channel, occasionally give you a nice spell, eat challenges after your champ in extended combats, and benefit from lore of beast character bubble spells if you're going that route.

If you're not going to field a grandmaster with a runefang, I'd say screw it and just go for the Arch Lector on wagon so you can have bubble hatred & spells. White cloak, charmed shield, GW and you're good to go.

True, though my current 2500 mounted list revolves around getting bubble beasts off for a charging wall of murder, though if it doesn't go off your sitting at A3 and a lot of wasted points killing a few chodes.
