Small scout centric force, mostly to be used either solo or as ally to my IG.

I'll use the sniper and the Captain on the board (Cpt with a CCS if it,s an ally detachment.) while outflanking the bolter scouts on the LSS to take out some back field unit or claim an objective, while the bikes will also outflank, mostly aim for vehicles or just cause a general raucous in the line.

By melta you mean a combi-melta? I do not think you can give a meltagun to a Captain on a bike nor scouts bike squads.

I'd say swap out the captain for a cheap librarian, he looks like a point sink. Cut out the power fist and try get a tri las predator.

A tri las predator is about 120/140 pts, I'll bust 500 pts for sure...not to mention a preator is not really well placed in a scout force.

Well, 4-5 attacks at Str6 should strip enough hull points than a single meltabomb and hope I roll high enough to blow it up..not to mention a bike captain serve little purpose with my guard CCS, evne if it is a good set-up.

I would second the dropping of the captain for a Libby, he is more of a force multiplier. I would bike him up though. Then I would drop the sniper scouts and just run double of your initial scouts. Then you have two solid mobile units and an HQ that is surrounded by some bikers. Three solid units and they can each support one another. Also I would do Sential of Terra chapter tactics for the bolter buff.
