How does one treat a formation to the other elements in your army? I.E Cypher Formation and Orks. (I don't have Cypher, this is just an example) I don't recall it saying anything in the rulebook, and looking back over, I still don't see it.
Any help is appreciated, thanks Dakka.
Also: Am I limited to 1 Formation per army? I was told I am, but cannot find it. I imagine such a statement doesn't exist.

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you. |

Each formation counts as a separate detachment in your army. You can have as many detachments as you like...

So, as it is a detachment, I treat it as a Battle Brother/Allies of Convenience/ Desperate Allies/CtA?

Yes. But possibly some formations dont have specified their relationship to all factions, then they wouldn't be allowed. Automatically Appended Next Post: (Debatably, id probably just say its come the apocalypse )

Each formation is made up of units from a specific Codex. Furthermore, each Dataslate says which Faction the formation is from.
For example, Fallen Champions (Cypher and 1-3 units of Chosen) is from Faction: Chaos Space Marines.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
