So the changes to 7th have bought some good and some bad for the dark kin, but in hoping i can get a good list for me to compete in games,
Heres my list;
Duke sliscus
Haemonculus, crucible of malediction
4 kabal trueborn, 3 x blaster, 4 x haywire grenade, venom - extra splinter cannon, nightshields
4 kabal trueborn, 3 x blaster, 4 x haywire grenade, venom - extra splinter cannon, nightshields
9 x kabal warriors, raider - nightshields, splinter racks
9 x kabal warriors, raider - nightshields, splinter racks
10 x kabal warriors, raider - nightshields, splinter racks
10 x kabal warriors, raider - nightshields, splinter racks
5 x wyches, 5 x haywire grenades, venom - nightshields, extra splinter cannon
6 x reavers, 1 x cluster caltrops
6 x reavers, 1 x cluster caltrops
Voidraven bomber
so im thinking kabalites in raiders for 7th they can jink and the guys inside can still fire, unlike venoms that are going to be snap firing if they jink, reavers are also great getting a 3+ cover when they turbo boost, 2+ if nightfight is in and turbo boosting is what they do best.
id like to maybe get in ravagers as there also great, not to sure if its worth taking haywire on the trueborn, but i can see haywire being very important in 7th. Sliscus is amazing in 7th with the 50% reserve rule gone we can get a real turn 2 alpha strike now, maybe i should take more wyches to get a real benefit from him??
Any thoughts on the list or anything you think is really good in the dark eldar codex let me know.

I think this is a solid list. While I don't play DE, I do have an enormous amount of experience fighting against various DE players.

I can't really see any problems with it either. Heldrakes will ruin your day though I think. The new d6 hits on the occupants of open topped vehicles on top of the actual vehicle damage roll could be nasty, especially at strength 6 into armour 10. Automatically Appended Next Post: Being torrent, and having THAT many transports on the board, it won't be hard to hit 2 at a time either.

Well, I think that we'll not see that many Helldrakes in the 7th edition since they were nerfed badly.
The list looks quite solid.

Well, at least he's got a Voidraven as far as Heldrakes are concerned. 2 Void Lances with Skyfire are better than nothing.
Nice to see people deem this list solid, it's very similar to the one I'm planning to expand my little Kabal to.

TBH I think your NS are a waste of points. Point being that your raiders are mid ranged at 24 inches. Your NS is only going to reduce range by 6 inches. Anyone who is attempting to bring down your raiders are going to be doing it with at least 36inch range weapons.. The only thing that NS on raiders really does is preventing things like bolters from reaching us when we shoot them with our warriors.
Same argument for the wyches in the venom. reducing range on on a unit we want to get into h2h with vehicles seems a bit counter intuitive.
Only thing I dont like about this list other than that is the lack of Ravagers.

Its still THE chaos marine flyer. And its far from bad by any means. I'll leave it at there though.

Its not just the Helldrake. Torrent flamers can now be devastating vs. Raiders and other open topped vehicles.
In our gaming group, CSM is not very popular. Players moved to CD in the 6th ed and I guess they will stay.
On the other hand, one might see three Dreadknights with teleporters and heavy inciinerators.
Anyway, for each army out there you can find some serious threats. A decent list and with tactics one should be able to deal with it.

Thanks for the thoughts, in not to sure about the nightshields either, its better to have nightshields for venom spam but does seem maybe a waste of points, but helps if im starting on the board and going second, i still think they help a lot though in certain situations. I also really like th idea of a turn 2 alpha strike list maybe i could get a comms relay in there to ensure everything comes down. I would like some ravagers in there too there great with nightshields on. IM also not to sure on having the trueborn with blasters and haywire grenades maybe they should have one or the other??

I would drop the haywire grenades from the trueborn, and the night shields for everything. The trueborn (should) never be in combat, so the grenades seem like a waste. You want them shooting every turn. And as others said, the nightshields will rarely save a transport because of that 6". I would definitely give your bomber a flickerfield, so that it doesn't have to jink and snapshot unless you need the 4+. I would personally also like to have FF for all my raiders, but to each their own. Removing all of the previous upgrades should give you a decent amount of points for another unit. Maybe another haywire wych squad in a venom?

Nothing wrong with Haywire Grenades on Trueborn, you get to shoot your blasters at something and if it doesnt die charge it and finish it off...
They work better on Splinter Trueborn though as a last resort if there is a vehicle there you cannot damage normally.
