Exactly what it says did they effect him like other pykers or was he so powerful he was immune?

Since there's no canon on a meeting between the two we can only prject our own opinions..
Saying that, the sisters have been condoned by the Emporer.. And whilst it would be silly to think he would condone a minor boon to the imperium that would threaten its greatest necessity...

The fact that he never went near them (so far) in canon could speak volumes to the counter-argument...

I noted Russ was totally non-plussed by being in the pariah's presence, and it is quite possible he has some psychic ability.

In the RPGs, there are some negative level's of psychic power, from blank to nemesis. I would imagine the emperor could tolerate some level of interaction with the sisters just like Maldicor did, because he was that much more powerful then they.

When Magnus the Red sent the the message about Horus being a traitor which opened up the warp in the imperial palace was it not the custodians and the sister's of silence that held them at bay.

That would make me believe that there where at the palace with Adeptus custodians when it happened.

Imperial palace is the size of a small country..
Saying that sisters were in it same time as Big E doesn't mean he was in their radius.. Which is tiny by comparison..
Doesn't mean he wasn't but I'd say unconfirmed at the very least..

From what I remember the Sisters were fighting the daemonic horde inside the small area of the "human" portion of the webway, not inside the actual imperial palace.

And as such if the Emperor took part in that battle at all he would have come into close contact with the sisters until the daemons finally pushed all imperial forces from the webway and the Emperor was confined to the Golden Throne to keep the warp gate closed.

Magnus the Red could stand inside a gigantic pariah mountain (Seriously, it was a mountain that nullified the entire Thousand Sons on the world's psychic powers) without being nullified. He was just too powerful.

I doubt there are any Sisters of Silence powerful enough to affect the Emperor in any great way.

Untouchables, like Psykers, come in various strengths. A psyker of sufficient power can simply overwhelm a Blank's abilities to stop them. Given that the Emperor's psychic might is very much over 9000, I don't think they'd be much of a hassle.

The simplest way to explain the most likely answer is thus. "A water drop's effect on the sun? " is asking the same question.

Yes.

Unless ypou have a alpha blank, the emperor would not even be effected, his power is just too massive.

Oh, I dare say he'd be affected. Just not totally negated.

Just a fun fact, but the blanks actually are ranked opposite of psykers.

An extremely powerful Pariah/Blank isn't an alpha plus. They're ranked Omega Minus.

I don't think your average Blank would cause much concern to the Emperor. Something like Spear, on the other hand, might, might have been a slight issue. But the Emperor is just that damn psychically powerful I don't think he has anything to worry about.
