I have been playing malifaux for three months and I have the Lady justice box but I want to change things up. I was thinking about getting the Colette box, thoughts

Do you have the big rulebook with force lists in it?

That would't matter- says he's been playing, and the core book doesn't have colette's rules in it.

From what I can see, Collette only comes in an old metal 1E box, so that won't have the up-to-date cards in it (I don't think) and will also be getting a plastic replacement 'at some point' (don't know the exact plan). So personally, if you just have the contents of the Lady J box, I'd get another Guild set to bring that up to a 50 point list and maybe give you another leader. From the looks of it, Lady J with The Judge, Death Marshalls and Witchling Stalkers makes a neat list, so getting a Sonnia box might be a better option (with the bonus of getting you an extra Master who plays very differently to LJ)

Some new plastic sets for guild are to be released soon and they look really great, so I'd recommend he get those before the Colette box and a new faction.

The Performers are really very good now in 2E, destroying enemy scheme markers for an action, on top of debuffing the enemy in the process is huge in this edition!
