Hey guys just wanted to say Happy Canada day hope you had a good one I just got back from the family's heat stroke fess of parade, food and fair. Hope you all enjoy yours well I go try and get some rr and freeze lol

Happy Canada day eh? Today had an enormous birthday cake, Mounties in red serge, and a 21 gun salute. Really nice, no doot aboot it!

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

Lost in a blizzard, somewhere near Toronto

I celebrated today by:
1. luckily avoiding any severe weather on yet another 'Tornado Tuesday' - yay for living in the western GTA!
2. enjoying a large breakfast of pancakes & real Quebec maple syrup.
3. bbq'ing up some ribs on the grill for dinner.
4. enjoying some fireworks with the neighbours on our street.
Not a bad by any means!
And on Thursday I'll be heading into Old Fort York to pay my respects to our Afgan Memorial, which is about to head out on a cross Canada tour.

I also assume it must be celebrated while riding Zambonis and drinking maple syrup smoothies. If you skipped that, I'm disappointed!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
