On a dark night, my mind was at work coming up with an idea for my newest chaos lord. During the night of listening to music and scanning through pages after pages of different models from all sides, trying to gather inspiration to create the newest lord, rapidly feeling tension rising as my page searching became quicker. Until the moment appeared, seeing the Ultramarine's Marneus Calgar in image as my mind suddenly ticked, a spark as a idea emerged rapidly in mind, showing the many possibilities flickering through my mental view as one idea stuck and emerged into the view...

Here is what the answer became in reality...




This grand warrior fell to the Marneus Calgar, being receiving a strong, single strike to his back, but his body began to rise from the ground, seeing where he was hit had become engulfed in the powers of his god...Nurgle.


Enraged by his falling, he began his trials and wars to one day encounter the one that slain him...

Requires some minor liquid green stuff work on his shoulders and he is ready to be spray painted

Looks cool, but I think maybe he needs something else added to the body. He looks a little 'flat' for a Chaos Lord. Maybe add a tabard or something like that to counter the top-heavy composition.

Also, there's a nasty mould line on the left leg that you might have already seen and trimmed, it's only in second picture.

Looking forward to seeing this develop, though.

Thank you for telling me bout that Mould line will remove it and will add some more features to him as got a lot of bits left round boxes so will get it worked on as now getting to hang of gs slightly

So done more work on the Nurgle Chaos Lord and finally completed the green stuff work (did think of tabard but thought of another idea to make him look more durable) Here is the final result of him before he is to be spray painted.



As seen, his stomach had being moulded to look like distressed and sickly shown, adding in an end of a large blade and a section of a spiked chain that had being impaled through and became apart of his body as the rot had engulfed and infused the weapons into its stomach, bringing more infected appeal and fear to opponants. Also added onto the very top of the boots is fur, showing he is a great warrior among other Chaos around him.

Starting painting of this Chaos Nurgle Lord within 24 hours of this post Taken a lot of time to ensure the green stuff placed and moulded onto him as being 100% secure and sculpted.

Neat stuff. Do you have any plans for a shoulder pad on the left arm?

Planning on to add some liquid green stuff to creating creeping rust so it doesn't look bland.

So like from where the green stuff is near, adding some liquid version creeping lines like if the rust has spread like a virus.

Ah, I see, cool idea. I was just thinking it'd look a little odd if you just left it blank. Rust idea sounds cool!

Oh aye Hopefully can pull it off as where the green stuff ends on that side is perfectly place for what got in mind with rust

Promise will not let down with this first ever Nurgle model

The Nurgle lord is emerging more and more as each passing minute goes by, taking form as the slime and rot engulfs the very eyes of his opponents.
His body becoming Nurgle's toy as it began to crumble and erode his armour's back, allowing his corrosion to expand and creep.





His rot and power growing as more emerges into view of all to witness and cower in fear, knowing this is only the beginning of the long decent...
