At my FLGS a bunch of guys were playing Infinity on what looked like a Space Hulk table. After figuring out it was Dwarven forge it peeked my interest. I couldn't stay long to watch them play but wanted to ask people if they ever used the SciFi sets from Dwarven forge for either kill points or low points infantry matches? Maybe even for zone of mortalis?

The other option I'm looking into are hurtz(sp?) art molds to make my own tables. All of this is expensive I know but I'm just thinking of trying to break up the monotony of playing on the same boards all the time.

Hirst arts moulds are cool. A lot of work if you buy the moulds and DIY. There are vendors who will do the castings for you and you can buy them off them to save time and effort (the moulds include a limited commercial licence. You can make and sell up to X pieces per mould. More than this and you will either be paying for an actual full commercial licence or playing fast and loose with copyrights and IP.)

Yes, Dwarven forge does work with 40k scales. I've got some of their SF stuff (which is ALWAYS out of stock, so I can't get more.).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
