I can't find anything about how units interact in an Unbound army. I got some Wraithguard and want to use them (in big 3000pt games)

Can ICs join units from other Codex books?

Can psychic powers affect all units in your Unbound army?

Is there any "level of alliance", when no Allies are used? Or does an Unbound army follow the allied matrix?

Thanks. I have no idea what's going on.

unbound says take whatever units you want, it does not say anything about changing the way the alliance matrix works nor does it say you can ignore normal unit composition rules.

So you can take any unit from any codex, but they otherwise follow normal points costs and rules.

As fun as it would be to have a unit composed of 1 of every different type of troop from every codex.......aint happening.

Units still follow the allies matrix in how they interact with other units.

So the only ICs that can join a Wraithguard unit would be an Eldar, Dark Eldar, or Eldar Corsair IC.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Im not trying to ignore unit composition rules, just trying to understand how the Ally Matrix works when there's no Allies and no Detachments.

and thank you everyone, I did find it on pg 126- it seems to mention that units from different faction in the same army "interact in certain ways" so I suppose it means whether Unbound or Battle-forged.

Cool, anyway! Just can't deploy the Wraithguard near the CSM stuff... lol
