Dusted off my Orks and came up with this list which I hope its very fun to play with and can also be semi competitive. I plan to use this list in our gaming group as we play RAW, so LoW. multiple detachments and so on are allowed. There is a big event here which I plan to attend later this month and going to see if someone is willing to play against me there. If not I will use my Iyanden Eldar

HQ
Big Mek /w Mega Force Field (inside stompa, also my warlord)
Painboy /w 1xGrot Orderly (goes into trukk with manz)
Mek /w Grot Oiler and Rokkit Launcha (inside battlewagon)

ELITE
5x Meganobz /w 5x Kombi-Skorcha
Trukk /w Reinforced Ram, Rokkit Launcha and Wrecking Ball

10x Tankbustas (goes into battlewagon)

TROOPS
29xGretchin /w 2x Runtherds and Squig Hounds

You mean Ropecon with the big event? If so I would be pleased to try if I can manage to get some damage to that Ork mountain with my Iron Hands with some Forge and Inquisition goodies.

I have not had a 2000 points game against Orks for a long time for some reason.

Drop grot riggers on stompa and take another mek in HQ slot, you have 2 HQ's so can take two meks. Costs 15 points less for same thing. Also, drop the grot oilers and get da fixer uppa on your big mek to repair on 3+

Dropping grot riggers is a good idea, thanks. I'm afraid da fixer uppa cannot be taken as I'm using the rules from Ghazghkull supplement to get 4+ inv save for my stompa.

Don't you need to use one of the Detachment/Formations from that supplement in order to take those Relics?
This Looks like a straight up CAD from the Ork Codex.

And why drop the Riggers? Potentially repairing 2 Hull points per turn is better than repairing one. I'd get Riggers and as many Meks in there as possible!

Yes I'm using the Great Waaagh! Detachment from the supplement. I dont see how grot riggers could ever give me more than one hull point.

Not by themselves.
But Big Mek, Mek and Riggers is 3 rolls to restore a Hull points. That's better than 2. 6 would be even better.
