In a tournament?
Err, that's rarely ever a good idea.
It's really 4, as the
GA is OS.
Honestly, he could easily go with 3 in the original configuration, as the
GAs then would essentially be giving him 6.
GAs are fast enough in terms of scoring for most games now. An 18" move on a unit with that big of a footprint allows it to get a lot of places pretty quick. Skoffs wrote a good list, but keeping closer to your original I would suggest something like this:
HQ NECRON OVERLORD(
CCB WARSCYTHE MINDSHACKLE SCARABS PHASE SHIFTER SEPITERNAL WEAVE)\
COURT
2 STROM TEKS
1 RESLORD +Fists (had 5 points)
TROOP 5 WARRIORS GHOST ARK
TROOP 5 WARRIORS GHOST ARK
TROOP 20 WARRIORS GHOST ARK
FAST 3 SCARABS
HS 2 ANNI BARGE
HS 3 SPYDERS + GP
That Res Lord + Gloom Prism (Plus the 3
GAs) makes the 20 brick incredibly difficult for anyone to deal with. Park that bad boy in the center with a
GA behind it for extra support and the other two
GAs on the Flanks to grab objectives. It's an incredible block of OS potential. Key is to us the
CCB/ABs/Spyders and Scarabs to keep them pushed into their own DZ.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Other suggestions I would play around with is finding 55 for a Pulse Tek to throw in the empty
GA (and maybe some lancetek friends to play with him at 35 a pop). Some game maybe switch out some of your Spyder Farm for something like that. I'm really digging Pulses in this edition. They make that
GA Jink just nasty.
