Hey all, I am contemplating returning to 40k after a year off. I posted in 40k tactics about bike armies in 7th but I thought it would be better to post my potential lists in here.

Anyway, here is what I have so far;

Khan on bike

Comand squad on bikes
+ apothecary
+ 4 grav-guns

6 bikes
+ melta bombs
+ 2 meltas
+MM attack bike

6 bikes
+ 2 plasma
+MM attack bike

6 bikes
+ 2 grav-guns
+ attack bike

6 bikes
+ 2 flamers

5 scouts
+ land speeder storm

5 scouts
+ land speeder storm

land speeder
+ 2 heavy flamers

stormtalon gunship
+ skyhammer missile launcher

Total: 1,499 points

Any thoughts?

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

As I said on the other one, I like it, but would recommend not taking Attack Bikes with Heavy Bolters. Multi Melta Attack Bikes are good, but 45 points for a Heavy Bolter.......

I guess you've got a point about the heavy bolter attack bike. What would you suggest I swap it for/drop to upgrade it?

Couple of changes, I dropped the heavy bolter attack bike as suggested and used the points I had left to add 2 extra bikes and give melta bombs to the scout sergeants. Here is my amended list;

+ Moondrakken
150

Command squad
+ bikes
+ apothecary
+ 4 grav-guns
210

6 bikes

+ MM attack bike
201

6 bikes
+ 2 plasma-guns
+ MM attack bike
211

7 bikes
+ 2 flamers
157

7 bikes
+ 2 grav-guns
177

5 scouts
+ melta bombs
+ land speeder storm
105

5 scouts
+ melta bombs
+ land speeder storm
105

Land speeder
+ 2 heavy flamers
60

Storm talon gunship
+ skyhammer missile launcher
125

I don't like a lone speeder with the heavy flamers... I don't think it's the best use of points... try to get to 100 for a TFC.

I would go with a thunder fire cannon but I'm wanting to build a fluffy list and thunder fires don't fit in with the white scars' highly mobile combat style. I could swap the heavy flamers for a MM on the land speeder and deep strike it behind enemy tanks to take them out.
