There has got to be a way. I cannot for the life of me win against Space Marines but I'm going off 6th edition.

It's unbelievable. My brother plays Space Marines and he just gets devastator squads full of lascannons and plasma cannons and gives them prescience and whatever that power is that ignores cover. He does it with Tigurius, who apparently gets divination.

It's just depressing, and there is nothing I can do about it. I just remove entire Chaos marine squads and I cant find ways to give them cover because..well, because I dont get cover....against plasma cannons. It's beyond ridiculous.

Somebody, somebody please tell me 7th edition psychic powers have changed.

Ally in demons and watch as your brother's devastator squads get overrun in a massive tide of blood letters. 7th ed psychic phases got a whole lot better.

If you don't want to go a summoning route, just fish for invisibility on a psyker or three and put it on your squads, problem solved.

Wow, thanks actually!! I'll do that *rubs hands together with evil smirk* I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but time to unleash the bloodletters...

The power is called Perfect Timing; Prescience is the "Twin-Linked" one.

The biggest difference is that it's easier to get Perils and in my opinion easier to counter the spell.

Invisibility won't work actually. It gives stealth and shrouded, both of which can be ignored by Perfect Timing.

That is not what it does in 7th, and it will work in 7th ed against perfect timing.

Are you guys playing 6th ed or 7th ed?

We are still stuck in 6th. The new rulebook is expensive as hell but I guess I'll have to invest in it if I wanna win.

So the psychic powers have changed?

Some have some have not.

Prescience and Perfect timing are still about the same as in 6th, Invisibility is different and they added daemonology so you can summon new units of chaos daemons.

Your going to need the 7th edition rules.

Everything you need to know is there.

two new psychic power tables; One that lets you summon various units of chaos daemons (!!!), and one that does other things (ie, not summoning free units)

There is also a whole new phase in the game for psykers, you really need to get the book... It really changed my army. I played CSM and Daemons before, with mixed success, but with the new powers, I can take a bunch of daemon psykers, take multiple "combined arms detachments" to take my CSM, and just summon the rest of my daemon models onto the table. It can be quite oppressive in smaller games because its not crazy to get 3 to 400 points of daemons on the table from summoning.

7th is much more fun than 6th. The new boxed set comes out soon so you can probably get the cut down size rulebook soon.
