They've given us two positive things to look over.

1) A promise of lots of good stuff, and an MMO that would blow others out of the water and be effectively revolutionary by implication

2) Extremely early footage that suggests the gameplay is a chopped down version of that in Space Marine.

On the other hand;

1) They're a studio that, iirc, has not made a single particularly good game to date, and has spent more time making terrible low end games

2) I don't care if its not "pay to win", the absolute maximum I would ever spend on a game outside of expansions and DLC would probably be about £40, I am simply not interested in spending absurd amounts of money on classes or races or privileges. Unless the game is exceedingly addictive and refreshing I won't be playing for more than 3 dozen hours. (I've played games for years, I can count the number with which I've exceeded the 100 hour mark on my left hand - TF2, BFBC2, F:NV, M&B:W, E:TW)

3) If it sounds too good to be true....

If its free to play, I may be a little leery. I'd much rather pay a subscription and have all content available to everyone through in game means.

The free to play option is an ork boy.

Once I finish half-life 2

Depends on how much I feel like playing Orks and Eldar at the time, I guess, since I'm not playing the other faction.

I'll only be playing if orks are good, I don't care for any other faction really. If orks have to zerg to win it's probably a no go, except for drunken lols.

I'll probably pre-order it when I get some cash together, i.e. the founders program.

Probably rolling as a Space Marine first, Devastator class, because? Heavy. fething. Bolters.

Maybe i guess. Not 100% sold on it but i'll give it a go.

If it gets excellent reviews.

Too early to say. I need to see some proper gameplay with with (near) finished assets.

The release is still a long time in the future. And right now, the game took a course you don't want it to see taking.
