My friend bought a Tiger shark AX-0-1 and now my other friend is a bit mad because it's so hard to take down.
Is there a way he could give his vindicare assassin skyfire?
If not, what would be a reasonably reliable way to fight the Tiger shark?

Either try casting prescience on him for reroll to hit or hope an objective gives skyfire. Although I feel taking 1 or 2 dreads with double autocannons could do just fine.

Ally in Space Marines with Red Hunters CT, attach an IC to the Vindicare. You'll only get Skyfire for one turn, but should be enough to put the hurt on something flying

Snapshots are only -2 BS now and Vindicare are BS 8. Having Skyfire isn't all that neccessary.

No, snap shots are still BS1.
Is there no way for your friend to take a flier of his own? Barring that, ADL's or just weight of fire. It's what comes of using an old codex, sadly.

What in the world?
The only way without allies is to get your self a skyfire mysterious objective (if you even play those)
otherwise it is only with a red hunter allies.

I had to reread the 7th Edition rulebook, it seems I mixed up the rules with pre 7th rumors that snapshots would only be -2 BS.
