I mostly Go up against Tau and MC Nids lists. As a Vanilla Marine player, these are hard for me to take care of. I created this list in hopes of it helping me against these two types of armies. Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated! I am currently trying to save up for a Valk Tempestus formation, as well as a few Centurion Squads and 2 Land Raiders to carry them in. Idea behind the list would be for the two Ironclad, the drop pod with the beacon, and the pod containing Pedro to drop first, with the rest hopefully coming in T2, also, I'll be combat squading the two Tactical squads as to grab more objectives. Being crimson fists, I made sure the list was bolter heavy. The droppings of pods in the face hopefully is distraction and threat enough to allow the Knights to waltz up close enough to join the frey!

Well, all these podding armies have the caveat that only half of the pods will arrive in first turn.
This leaves half of your army exposed to a full force.
In your list, this could be mitigated a bit by the Knights.

That was my hope. I doubt two knights would die T1 if I didnt have first go. However, anything is possible, and I am running the risk. As I stated, the armies I face have many MC and amazing saves(Riptides, Carnifex, etc) So thats why the mass grav weaponry. I wanted to be able to drop in their faces and attempt to tear them apart before they could do any damage to me.

I would take at least one Sternguard squad with melta just because at 3000 points there may be super heavies. I'd load up on them too, maybe 6-8 and save them until you can get rear arc or a good position. Also I wouldn't drop Pedro 1st turn, because in a game at that many points, you will have a lot bearing down on him turn 1 and 2; you'll probably lose him and give up Warlord.

Other than that, looks fun!

I never thought of that. Three pods full of Grav is sefficient enough to do what I need it too, I'll test out your suggestion a bit. Thank you
