With the new book in hand, heres a first at a 1500pt list
Looking at it im wondering if I should switch the lootas out for a blitza bomma or something?
This wasn't written with a specific opponent in mind btw, themed and fun. Figured the ard boyz trukk and bikes would act as a screen for the others...hence the eavy armor as they will inevitably get blasted...

I think if you could fit Ard boys in every trukk it would/could be better. Not sure what to drop. A couple of lootas could be dropped, but not enough to make them all Ard boys.

the 2 non ard-boy trukks will need to drop a boy if they;re all going to fit in. Dropping a few bikers and a loot or two should cover the ard boy upgrades

The number next to the squad was the number of models. Below are the upgrades. So really they are 12 models - 11 boyz and 1 nob
Is it worth going all ard? I was contemplating it hut wanted to make sure the numbers stayed high. Was also debating to put a heavy weapon in the squads....

Well with them being so short on numbers, I think the better save is going to be better. So yes I think all Ard boys is the way to go.
But you can try it this way first and see how it works. The 4+ save is going to help with a possible explosion from the trukk.
I might drop the Bomb Squigs. Maybe drop the lootas for some points. How many Tank bustas are there in the squad? If its 12 you could drop a couple of them too. You are so tight on points at this point. Its really hard to decide what to skim off of.

Ard Boyz do have survivability on their side.
Math Hammer
1 Ork is 6 points
1 Ard is 10 points
3 Ard = 5 Orks
That means you get 40% more Orks. Which translates to 40% more attacks, shots and wounds.
Now 4+ is 50%, but it isn't guaranteed and and it does less damage.
