Here is my first list I came up with to expand my 1500 pt 5th/6th edition Ork list to 2000 points in 7th edition. Let me know what you think. Units marked with a * are units I already have and need to remain in the army as my "core."

Plan is to make a wall o' wagons and zoom them at the enemy. I have 20 shoota boyz in each wagon and then I put the Meganobs, Warboss, Painboy, and Mega Mek in the Nob wagon. This makes the "Alpha Wagon" a huge target but it will have the ability to repair thanks to the Mek, Riggers, and also have the 5++ from the KFF. If it is destroyed I then have 2+ 5++ FNP Meganobs on the table. They will be slow, but hard to kill. If they do somehow make it to the enemy I think they will absolutely rip things to shreds. The other three wagons roll around and shoot and shoot and shoot. If they get blown up then the boyz can disembark and continue to shoot and charge etc.
Dakkajet and Burna Bommer are there mostly because I love the models and it can help me pour out some more dakka against weak air (like flying tyrants or demon princes etc) and ignores cover shooting from the burna bombs/missiles. Let me know what you think!

Thats 4 battle wagons right? If you can drop some stuff to get one more in it you can take the battlewagon formation out of the Ghaz supplement. You get scout BUT can't assault first turn... still gets you nice and close for next turn though!

drop the deffrollas and paint jobs. You won't be able to shoot if you're making use of the paint job and deffrollas aren't really worth it anymore, just take a ram for the dangerous terrain perk.might give you enough to buy some more meganobs?

I haven't got the Ghazzy supplement yet but if there's a 5-wagon list I am intrigued. I'll look into it. Just not really sure what I would want to drop just to get a scout move. Planes might be more useful.
Laveaux: I have sort of been debating between the Ram or Deff Rolla. Main reason I kept them was bc I have some custom modeled on the front of two of my wagons, but I guess they can count as rams now. Other reason was to help if I need to ram something to death for anti-tank but it's kind of meh. It's a real shame, because I love my deffrollas. About the RPJ, won't it still count as moving 12" and I snap shot? Or does it specifically say that if you move over 12" you can't shoot. I thought the 13" was an exception. Maybe I am just mistaken. Either way, the RPJ is pretty optional. I guess I can always just add another big shoota to the wagon. MOAR DAKKA!
What do you guys think about the MANz deathstar? Should I maybe try and spread around the HQ love to all the battlewagons? Drop a Big Mek or Warboss for another Painboy for a Boyz squad?

Rams are 5 points cheaper and the only difference is if you run someone over and they fail to Death and Glory then they only take D3 wounds.
RPJ only works on Flatout movement which is basically worthless. You can't shoot or drop your troops, so what would be the point.
Not even close to worth it.

agreed, drop the paint, and the 5 wagon formation requires you take either ram or rolla. but the best part is, you get 5 outside of your normal detachment... soooooo yeah you could get 8+ wagons in a list now...

Deffrolla - i think people will remember it from the previous codex and it will attract more firepower than it should (maybe there's an option for a decoy battlewagon?)
RPJ - yeah it's only on flat out now. You're right tho, it used to work on the 13" thing, but not anymore

Alright, cool. I will look on adding in a 5th wagon somehow. I will probably have to cut the jets and maybe a few boyz/upgrades if I want to keep it 2000 points. If we are doing 2500 though I can go to town haha.
Does the MANz unit seems decent? Should I just try and duplicate it for the fifth wagon?

MANz look good. If you really want that Killsaw though it might be better to put it on a regular Mega Nob not the Boss Nob in case he gets krumped in a challenge.
A Painboy can only take 1 grot orderly at most, sadly it doesn't work like the Grot Oilers or Ammo Runts. Automatically Appended Next Post: With that in mind, I would put the Bosspole on a different Mega Nob as well.
Eggs should be placed in separate baskets.
