Hello everyone,
The name is dan, i am stationed in germany right now. I stopped playing for a few years, mainly bc there are no players in hawaii, so i was gak out of luck. Now i am trying to get back into lotr,wotr,hobbit, battlecompanies, and whatever other new rulesets are out since i took a break.
Has anybody else noticed that? You take a break, even if its just for a few months, and you need new rulebooks, your army isnt as strong as it used to be, your characters cost more points, and you get confused all the time bc you cant remeber which are the new and old rules while playing.
Currently looking for groups and players in germany, so if you know someone, send them my way.

Thank you for the welcome,
It is most obvious for me in the lord of the rings series. Now my one old rule book has been replaced by a core rulebook and codex like army specific books.
Makes it hard to start up again, especially here in germany where the nearest store that hosts games and turneys is over an hour drive. Considering the speedlimits on the autobahn, that pretty far, i might add.
Whether or not i find players here i will continue my old projects i started years ago in terms of modifying certain models and building a fortress.
