Human Auxiliary to the Empire

Hey guys, I currently live overseas, and have just been getting back into the hobby seeing as it is nonexistent in my community. I've only just started reading the 7th edition rulebook, but I've watched multiple bat reps online and have conceived a list which I hope is effective. Hopefully you guys can shed some light on how good it is, what could be done to improve it, etc...

CAD1:
Hq-
Ethereal-50

Elites-
2 Riptide-360

Troops-
2 Firewarrior Squads- 149 each
6 men, devilfish with dpod

Fast Attack-
3 Pathfinder Squads -55 each
5x in each

Heavy support:
Hammerhead-180
Longstrike with dpods

Broadside squad-255
Velocity Trackers with hymp

CAD2
Hq:
Battlesuit commander-115
PENchip, mss

Troops:
Same as CAD 1

Heavy support:
Hammerhead-140
dpods

Broadsides-130
2x

The basic battle plan of the army was to be extremely mobile; hopefully the jinking vehicles with dpods would just ignore most of the enemy anti armor and harry the foe. The riptides would form to big threats that would constantly move up the board and force my opponent into throwing more firepower into it. The velocity broadsides would be flyer killers with the commander attached to confer tank hunter ignoring cover. The second broadside unit would be responsible for other tanks on the ground. Lastly the pathfinders would be lighting up the enemy where it helps my units the most. Any comments, criticism, or advice on my list would be greatly appreciated

Ion Accelerators would be reccomended for the Riptides as well as Stimulant Injectors. For 5 Points, submunitions is good on the Hammerhead

The Riptide can't be a giant death robot, its completely lacking a sword or massive chainsaw. All giant death robots have swords or massive chainsaws.

I second the Ion accelerators, the stims are nice but expensive. Using one tide as a HBC+ewo and velocity tracker is pretty nasty AA.

Not sure you need the velocity trackers on the sides. A decent flier or army with fliers will simply shoot these dead first, and unless they survive till after the flier appears they won't do a damn thing. With twin linked shooting and a buffmander, you could do OK with EWO's to net sufficient damage. A buffmander helps even more. Then if the flier is still alive you can use your riptide to drop it.

Second submunitions on the hammerhead. Without longstrike, consider making the 2nd hammerhead a skyray(more AA, markerlights and plenty of S8 to dump into the right target)

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
