BTW, if that was me playing orkses, i'd spread a bit vs blasts. Not necessarily 2' but even 1' allready helps alot vs small blasts.

I'll be sure to pass your comments along to Warboss Jonathan. His boyz are quite enthusiastic but are currently a bit green in more ways than one, so I'm sure he'll appreciate the advice. He's been on a bit of a recruitment spree recently so I think we can expect Waaagh! Jonathan to grow quickly - if he can find the time to paint. Two trukks, 3 deffkoptas, 1 dakkajet and a mob of lootas are inbound I believe. Not to mention the backlog of Dark Angels, Grey Knights and Eldar.

Basically, the size of the games is being determined by our availability of painted miniatures and should steadily increase. I doubt we'll do much if any games smaller than 1000 points now.

Yep, you're right - just thought you generated primaris for free there. You've done stuff perfectly fine.

I'm just interested, wasn't an ork player lucky enough to pass mob rule tests? Cause he got pinned and iirc he had to roll a 1 for this to happen cause there were >10 models and he had characters in there.

If Warboss Jonathan is gona use trucks and put da boyz in there, i'd strongly recommend to equip those boyz with 'eavy armor. Unarmored truckboyz are pretty much killing themselves more effectively than the enemy does. It generally works like this:

Your truck's exploded - take 12 s4 hits, than you have ~50% chance to fail ld and probably take another d6 hits for pinning and another ~50% chance to fail ld and take another d6 hits cause you've lost >25% models. It's not that bad when the truck's just wrecked but if the truck happens to explode - you'll likely loose all the unarmored boyz inside. And truck's 10-10-10 opentopped. Any plazmagun is quite likely to kaboom it.
