Time for war! Now that 7th edition is here we will be having a series of escalating events that will slowly introduce new play mechanics and let us all test out the rules changes. Here's the breakdown: $10 entry(which gets redistributed to the top 4 players and the best painted), 1500 points max, models do not have to be painted but must be on the correct bases and what-you-see-is-what-you-get(any questionable conversions or substitutions must be approved by Jared before the event), armies may be unbound or battle-forged, you must bring a clearly organized force roster and make sure you are familiar with 7th edition and your newest codex and FAQ, there will be 3 2-hour rounds, scoring will be based on victory points as outlined in the rules(players will get tournament points to determine rank as follows: 0 for a loss, 1 for a tactical draw, 2 for a victory, and 3 for a crushing victory), missions will be Maelstrom of War(using the new tactical objectives) and chosen by us. PLUS: We will be having a paint contest! Choose a fully painted Troops choice- it will have the 'Feel No Pain' or 'It Will Not Die' special rule(your choice) AND can be entered into a contest where the one judged to be the best wins a gift certificate!
