Alright, I've poured over the codex and the lists on Dakka, and I haven't seen my favorite type of ork list out here. So I'll post mine.
Looking for feedback, and what little bits and pieces should be added/subtracted. I think it'll be reasonable at 2k, but have yet to try a game with the new dex.
Note: It's a combined arms detachment, so keep that in mind.
Deffskullz footsloggin' shooty orks -
HQ -
Warboss - PK, Heavy Armor, Dead Shiny Shoota (why not), ammo runt (filler) - 97 pts. << Warlord.
2 Painboys - 100 pts
2 bare bones Mekboys - 30 pts
Troops -
3 x 30 Boys - shootas, 3 big shootas, bare bones nob with shoota - 3 x 235 pts
10 grots and runtherd - 35
Fast Attack -
3 x Dakkajets - extra supashoota. - 3 x 130 pts.
Heavy Support -
2 x 10 Lootas - 2 x 140 pts.
2 x 4 Mek Guns - Ammo runt per gun, and full compliment of crew - 2 x 156 pts.
ADL - 50 pts.
1999 total.
The idea is simple. If they shoot my big green mobs, the artillery, lootas and jets get to do real damage. If they shoot the support units, 90 boys are rushing their face.
Mekboys get stuck in with the artillery squads for extra leadership. 2 boys squads get painboys, the last gets the warboss. Lootas sit behind the ADL and pop transports skimmers, and are my AA. Mek guns are anti tank, I'm thinking a squad of the kustom mega kannons and a battery of the smasha guns. If needed, they can be traktor guns against flyer heavy lists. Dakkajets mess up infantry.
90 boys with tons of shots to back them up.
I'm really looking for feedback. This list is meant to be fun, but not totally lose all the time. It's a good mix of shooting and hordes of boys ready to assault.

You'll get handled by Eldar, Tau, AM. Tabled vs good opponent.
Takes you 2 turns to get across the table... 2 turns of just Lootas and Lobbas.
No guarantees on your jets coming in either. Gotta disrupt their backfield somehow. You allow the opponent to decide... "Who do I shoot first?"
Deny him that opportunity.

That is a crapton of Dakka, like wow
However, with that being said, your gonna have extreme trouble against other, more specialized shooty armies. It takes at least 2 turns for the dakkajets to come in, so essentially if a tau player with broadside buffmander squad was on the field, your lootas would be wiped. If he/she has more dakka, its plausible and safe to assume that your mek guns will be brought down too, or at least greatly diminshed. At that point, unfortunately you'd be left with 90 boyz charging at the enemy, which isn't bad, but they'd be targeted and severly mauled until the jets come in. Is there any way you can shave some points down and throw in some vehicles or bikes? Its safe to assume that you've seen that jink is crazy good now, and by adding vehicles into your army, fast moving targets would be huge high threat targets which would hopefully distract your opponent. hope this helps

I tend to agree on the vehicle front. Maybe drop the grots and one dakkajet and try and squeeze in 2 trukk squads?

This army seems to be very vulnerable to any kind of templates and S5 shooting - be it Leman Russ Punishers, Fire Warriors or any other kind of massed fire..
Is there a way for Orks to try to protect the footslogging Boyz?
