Ok so against blast (non barrage)

If a blast lands and hits a model out of the KFF bubble, but the closet model is within the bubble , do you still get a save?

It says the models closet are allocated the wounds and I want to make sure that this means I can also use their save as well

Yes, they use any save applicable to them

Nah, the KFF is hardly a waste. It's best used to ensure the front line of the unit the KFF is deployed in, gets the bubble, since they will be removed first. It's weird. I always felt Blasts should take from the area that was hit, as logic would dictate. But, I suppose that would make it too easy to snipe out important units, as people tend to keep their HQs/Sergeants in the back. Funny still to imagine.

*Bomb lands in the back of the unit...smoke clears, and everyone initially hit are fine, but dues in front lines are in bits and pieces*

I find it bizarre as well, but abstract system and all that.
