So, I don't see anything that strictly prohibits nobs taking both of these, but since the choppa is a two handed weapon it kinda seems wrong to me that you can take both - although the image of nobs with their kombi shoot as in their hands and a big choppa strapped to their back is pretty cool.

What do we think/know?

Think of it this way, the Nob runs screaming firing his gun while holding his Big Choppa in one hand. Once he gets to combat he throws the gun at the enemy, gets a better grip on the choppa, krumps the silly 'umie, and picks his gun back up to keep firing.

Just because a weapon is two-handed, does not prevent it from being carried in a single hand.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

There has not been a restriction on how many 'hands' worth of weapons a model can take since 4th edition.

You'll note that one of the 'uge choppa nob arm sets has the choppa conveniently resting on one shoulder while the other hand gesticulates menacingly (or rudely, if you have a bit of converting expertise). I'm sure that an ork with both hands on the shoota isn't much more accurate than one with only one hand there. He's just less likely to lose it to some shifty-eyed Death Skull git.
