With the Lord of War section becoming common now and things like the Orc Stompa being so ridiculously overpowered for a standard deployment style army to break apart, I was curious about Forge World units stamped 'Apocalypse' being used as the Lord of War unit. I'm new to the whole Escalation ideas and curious about what I can include in that ridiculous spot so I'm not left in the cold as the codices get updated with Lords of War included.
Specifically, I'm looking at Eldar, who have the 900pt Titan of worthless in Escalation, but a very attractive Lynx super-heavy tank with a D-weapon at 320 or so in Forge World but stamped with 'Apocalypse' instead of '40k'.

I don't know about official, but I played against elder the other day and he brought a Lynx in his Lord of War slot. I didn't realise it was an issue

Fortunately, FW released a document ( here) that lists what is available as a LoW.
Short story, Cobra, Lynx and Scorpion are all available (as well as a few others).
Of course this means nothing if your group refuses to play with FW, but well...lets not start that whole argument, kay?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

When it boils down to it man if you both agree that you both can bring out apoc formations in a normal game then you can.
It actually is a lot of fun and brings a different dynamic to the game. Our local Games Workshop in Raleigh is allowing this to happen and ya, its fun.

Typically if you look at the Forge World model the book will be in 'related items' section. What units are you looking for?

Particularly, someone the other day mentioned a drop pod with "assault vehicle"
Hard to even see if that is a thing without having every book since nothing is just cataloged.

I haven't seen drop pods with assault vehicles. Which faction? Imperial Guard have a list of dropship troopers and assault buggies dropped with them, Eldar Corsairs have a special rule giving any units deep strike with a certain HQ choice including tanks, Space Marines have Thunderhawk dropship to drop off massive Land Raiders, but I'm not sure about drop pods specific vehicles.
Edit: Sniped by smarter folks.

How does one stay in an open topped vehicle?
Don't drop pods specifically say you can't stay in them?
Sad that it is only dreads :(
That's a bummer.

Being open topped has nothing to do with forcing you to disembark. That comes entirely from the (codex) Drop Pod's rules. The Lucius-pattern pod has no such rule.
You'll obviously have to get the appropriate book for the full deals, of course

Forge World has been saying for close to a year (at least) that they'd publish a list like this
It's nowhere to be found. It's sad that we have to rely on fans to build that information, but we do.

Chaos dread claws are also assault vehicles. They're AV 12 fliers with hover mode. Fly in, hope to live (jink if necessary), go into hover mode and charge. They have frag assault launchers, too, so feel free to use lightning claw terminators of slaanesh or a helbrute!

It was, until FW added in a bunch of others. A warhound stands a decent chance of killing it.

I still don't like how the Imperium gets six to twelve toys in these books and other races are lucking to get mentioned....

Get use to it man. Imperium always and I mean ALWAYS gets the big toys.
Look at Tyranids, all those Gargants and not one of them is strength D, 1 has an invul, and relative wounds to damage from str D is low. Its bad to be a non Imperium race in the year 40k lol.
