I have never been a very good painter. I aspire for my models to look good on the tabletop and just try for a clean paint job. I have tried highlighting but I always seem to do it wrong and dont like the results ..so I haven't given up.. but I'll try the technique on smaller less attention grabbing or army centered models.

IMO A warboss should be DARK. the codex describes the biggest ones as having almost black skin because they are so dark. Also I tried to scar and rough up the tips of his powerklaw for battle damage.

good job ! i usualy just put some Loren forest paint and dry brush it with gretchin green or camo green ) works for me

You use that formula for your ork skin or the highlights??
