You are the Governor of a Solar System deep in Segmentum Tempestus. It's a system beautiful to you; you know every lovely quirk of its people and planets, for you have ruled over this system for over a century and it is your home, its people are your family. Your forefathers have ruled peacefully here for over a thousand years, and your own rule has been no different until now. The Imperium is a darker place than you remember; Orks and other Xenos threats encroach on its space in greater numbers and strength. Even Chaos has grown strong and threatens the very bones of the Imperium. Times ahead will be hard and you know it.
The system itself contains three inhabited planets:
One is a hive planet called Cordheim; a temperate world which 21 odd billion people call home.
The next is an agricultural world called Cardus which supplies food for both Cordheim and the majority of the sub-sector.
Lastly there is a minor mining world called Coria, which mines common metals that can barely support local production.
To you, Legacy is everything. What will you leave behind? Will you leave your people and planets in prosperity and pleasantry or will they be left in war, in chaos and in darkness?
You are old and weak, but your mind is still sharp. You have been kept alive by the graces of modern technology but they say you are at your end and have but a year to live.
Will you make it count?
