Howdy y'all, not sure where else to put this so I'll just put it here, mods feel free to fix/censor/ban whatever i type.

So my friends and I just started up a Dark Heresy campaign and I'm absolutely loving it and wanted to chronicle the awesome adventure I'm having. To give you guys a little bit of background about us as a group, we're all doing this to have fun so some of our characters are silly and will continue to be so haters gonna hate.

*spoiler alert* Our GM used this campaign from one of the pre made ones that GW offers so if you're going to play it soon, don't read this.

now I'll introduce the characters:

Me, playing Karma (she's a bitch) who is an arbitrator who used to live in the underbelly of a hive world working as a prostitute and was forced to bear several children from clients not using protection and her pimp not giving her any morning after pills. Being unable to care for herself and her children her broken body was nearing the end of it's use so her pimp sold her to a religious cult. This was a slaneeshi cult and they planned on summoning daemons into the hive to help spread Slaneesh's "love". During the final parts of the ceremony the "party" was interrupted by some Dark Eldar Xenos who proceeded to kill the cultists and enslave everyone else and took them to the Dark City Comorragh. Karma, who was the only person there used to such abuse and as such was the only one to survive the trip, surviving all of the strange Dark Eldar fetishes. The Dark Eldar realized how valuable of a slave she could be and wanted to experiment with her. Because of this they put her into a healing vat and restored her health, only to put her into more and more disturbing and dark experiences. For 600 years she continued to be ravaged and returned to the extreme pleasure of her masters but still the day came when her body no longer had the same luster it once had. Her masters at this point took her with them on a real space raid to use her final moments to send themselves into a frenzy and start the party anew. What Karma's masters did not expect was a trap set by the Inquisition to end their thousand years of fun. With their defeat Karma was set free by the Inquisition, at a price. With the last remnants of her willpower she asked her saviors for a final request. She wanted to know what had become of her children. Although it had been 600 years since her disappearance her descendants lived on. One of her sons became a great swordsman and was hired by the upper class in the hive to become their bodyguard. And with the salary from there he was able to support the rest of his family and get them proper education and nutrition. Slowly but surely they managed to climb their way to becoming the most famous family in the hive where their name is even known on other planets due to their prosperity and good will towards others. With this knowledge Karma was at last at peace as she pledged her body and soul to the Emperor. An Inquisition Psyker swept her mind clean of all memories except her childhood memories and her pledge to the emperor. With this she now goes to rid the human race of it's worst citizens. (sorry, i really enjoyed making this character and couldn't help but make an awesome background, even though escaping Commorragh is impossible and they would never let a filthy Mon Keigh use a healing vat. Also Karma now has the appearance of a 99 year old woman, even though she's quickly approaching the age of 666. She also makes the best damn cookies this side of the galaxy)

The way my memory works is that I remember what I've done and not so much what other people do, so here's the other characters and their background

Psyker: can't remember his name
Guardsman: wasn't paying attention when his player said his name
Assassin: once again, already forgot

Episode 1: *Mistakes were made*

Anyways, the mission starts with our Inquisitor meeting us in a small room with a body on a table and a crate in the corner of the room. the body is badly misshapen with a large cut across the middle of the torso and several holes are along the tear of the man's body indicating that at some point it was sewn together. The mans overly large organs are spilling from the crevice that used to be his body

Inquisitor: "Greetings Acolytes, this will be your first mission but I have high hopes for you all. This man was discovered several days ago in the alleyway of a nearby hive city. Upon dissection it was revealed that this man's organs have been tampered with and many have been replaced. These actions are highly heretical and greatly offend the God Emperor. It is your duty to find the source of this abomination and put a stop to it. In this crate next to me you will find much of the equipment that you will need."

-we get items from crate, getting comm devices, a data slate with mission info, several overcoats, a bio scanner and 30 thrones each. The bio scanner goes to the Psyker, the one with the most intelligence and I received the data slate.

-With this we left the room and boarded a train, getting off on the stop closest to the dead man's house in search of some clues. Along with the data slate came with a map that I am too lazy to find highlighting several key locations in that section of the city. Immediately down the steps of the train station is a sort of plaza with a fountain in the center bustling with a busy marketplace. We head down to the marketplace to listen to some rumors and ask some shop keepers a couple of questions. We manage to locate three suspicious (many praises to the GM) stalls, one belongs to a butcher, another to a clothing store (they only had rags, typical hive ) and the last was a bauble stand.

Our Psyker decides to take the initiative and approaches the butcher and says

Psyker: "Hello sir, may I read your fortune?"
Butcher: "feth You, if you're not gonna buy something then go away."

this completely caught us all off guard as the GM is usually a well mannered person but is a complete boss when it comes to being in character. After a minute of silence our Psyker decides

Psyker: "you know what!? maybe i will!"
Butcher: "ok that'll be one throne, lets get this fortune over with"

our Psyker then manages to roll godly and despite not having any such divination power, manages to convince the butcher that unless he helps us, his stall will be catch on fire in a week, with him still standing in it.

Butcher: *mumbling* "but how could that happen? The Bloods? what have I ever done to upset them? i pay my dues."

This immediately piqued our interest and we asked him a serious of questions, finding out that there was a local gang that kept everybody in check called "The Bloods" and that they always met in an old warehouse for their dealings. Despite my companions wanting to go off and meet this gang face to face, I insisted that we go check out the other two stalls. We approached the cloth shop and our GM mentioned that the man running the shop was giving us a queer look and didn't quite look right.

me: "i glance at the stall's wares, do i see anything good?"
GM: "nope, just rags"
me: "ok screw it, lets go check out this other guy."
(we found out later that this guy was a druggy and literally had nothing valuable to us other than the fact that he was taking drugs given to him by The Bloods.)

we approached the final stall and I start up the conversation, asking what the man was selling

Bauble Guy: "oh you know, knick nacks, this and that."

I end up buying a deck of cards and some dice (because it's funny to own dice in a dice game). and bluntly ask the man what he can tell us about The Bloods. the man's cheery face quickly drained as he whispered

Bauble Guy: "you don't want to mess with them, they run this town."
me: *rolling under a ten* "actually we're good friends with them, we're one of their dealers, we could put a good word in for you?"
Bauble Guy: "oh! phew, thought you were gonna start a fight with them or something, thank the emperor, we've had enough problems around here, what with the abductions."
me: "wait what?"
Bauble Guy (yes we never learned his name): "you haven't heard?"

he then goes on to tell us about how people have been disappearing left and right and how it's well over a dozen people now, he then points us in the same direction the Butcher did, towards the old warehouse. Before leaving, I hand the man 5 thrones and tell him that "we were never here." He silently nodded his head greedily glancing at the money in his hands. we finally make it to the warehouse and bluntly walk through the front door. I totally expected some sort of dark warehouse with a single lamp showing a dozen well armed thugs slouching around dealing drugs or something...Instead we're greeted by a well-lit bar where several of the gang members are getting drunk off their asses. The clear leader of the gang is sitting at the end of a large table with a sour expression on his face. We walk in and I choose to head straight to the barkeeper, to look like i clearly came there for a drink, Our assassin goes and sits alone at a table, looking very suspicious and our Guardsman (not wearing an over cloak mind you) stand by the doorway with his hand on his hip, near his gun. Definitely not a good start...we're already getting a couple of shifty glances from the gang members. I order a 3 glasses and a pitcher of beer. I go an give one glass, half full to our assassin so he doesn't look as out of place and approach the gang boss.

me: "hey mate, care to drown your sorrows away with me?"
Gang Boss (Lutz): "who the hell are you?"
me: *thinking to myself* "oh gak i don't have a cover story" I then remembered that there was an enforcer station on the map, near the train station.
me: "we're new recruits at the enforcer station here and we heard you've been doing some dealings and we want in." (a third godly roll)

his mood immediately lifted but he still said that he didn't trust us and that he'd have to see our ID's. We didn't even bother to check our fake ID's given to us by the Inquisition so we had no idea what was on it, yet we handed them over anyways.

Lutz: "mercenaries huh? yeah we've been doing some dealings around here and we just got some seriously good stuff, but our supplier...goddammit she pisses me off, acting like she owns the place. Don't know if you know this yet, but she's got your enforcer buddies under her thumb, picking up people in the middle of the night, saying it's for their own good. bs, she's doing some weird gak at the Alms House."

All 4 players:

I'm going to call it a night here, but will post more within the week
