I am trying for a deep strike army. the units on the board can stay alive while the rest come down.

Vindricare

Dread knight great sword and shunt

Honestly, drop the vindicare and take another Dreadknight with shunt, and make sure to put the incinerator on them which is a little more important than taking the great sword. Shunting works similar to DS in that you can't assault on the same turn that you shunted on so taking the incinerator not only gives you a nice preemptive strike but allows you to do something that turn as well instead of just moving 30".

If you want a strong DS army, I would also try to fit in some Interceptors. Shunting in a squad or two of Interceptors with 2 DKs while you wait for your GKSS to DS in turn 2 gives a lot of target saturation.
