Subject: 1500pt orks - MANz missile-star

So this list is built around the Manz squads basically trying to kill everything, while the other units provide support.
HQ
Warboss - MA, da lucky stikk
Mad Dok Grotsnik
Weirdboy - mastery level 2
Troops
30 boyz - nob w/ PK and BP
11 grots - runtherd
11 grots - runtherd
Elites
3 MANz in trukk - 1 killsaw
3 MANz in trukk - 1 killsaw
3 MANz in trukk - 1 killsaw
Fast Attack
5 warbikers - nob w/ PK and BP
Heavy Support
4 trakto kannons - 3 extra crew
3 kustom mega-kannons - 3 extra crew
The weirdboy will go with the boyz and provide support. Warbikers will mostly just turbo-boost around and grab objectives and assault vehicles when necessary. MANz missile-star will compose of the mega-boss and Mad Dok, who gives the MANz unit fearless, FNP, and rampage, the latter of which should be pretty legit since it gives everyone D3 more attacks. That means the mega-boss will have potentially 8 re-rollable attacks on the charge!
Should be pretty fun, questions and concerns welcome!

3 HQ's ..and two troops ..need three troops to use that FOC unless this is an unbound list ..

Of course you have to be outnumbered to get that. But it is a scary concept. One I have been trying to work with.

You have three HQ's, so I'm assuming you are using the special ork chart, but then, you have to have a minimum of three troops. If you drop one traktor kannon and 1 extra crew you can afford another unit of gretchin.
I'm not a fan of deathstars for orks, I feel like other armies just do it better, especialy considering only one unit of the MANZ gets FNP. Other than that, not a bad list. I think, ironically, your biggest threats will be horde armies, like orks lol

Why don't you invest some more points in formation manz? You must take 3 squads of 5 manz and they get fear, fearless and ws5. If you ask me, fearless for meganobz is a must and well worth the trouble with transports. Though, 5 meganobz are probably better off in a wagon, however if you don't have those, trucks will do. And fearless will keep them a real threat.

I'm gonna say I really like this list, mostly because it's similar to what I'm planning on running with my orks, but as previously mentioned I think deathstaring with orks is a bad idea. After Nob bikers got hit with the nerf stick we lost our one good deathstar and I don't think Meganobs can replace them due to lacking an invul save.

This list is alright, but it lacks target saturation. You have no reliable method of protecting the Trukks and you don't have enough of them to cause a question of what to prioritize. Once they're disabled, you've got most of your army trying to slog forwards 6" a turn.

All good feedback thus far guys, thanks.
@morfydd: Thanks for pointing out the two troops thing, not sure what I was thinking there, but I'll just drop one of the kustom mega-kannons and maybe one warbiker and get another grot squad.
@balsak_da_mighty: Thanks mate! be sure to let us know if you have some good success krumpin shtuff with them.
@Bigbashinork: ya I'm not really a huge fan of deathstars in general. The reason why I included the mini-star in my list is because I've already tried a version of it, where I had a normal painboy instead of Mad Dok, and it rocked face! So I thought, if that did really good, having fearless and rampage in the squad would make it even scarier.
@koooaei: I didn't really want to go for the MANz formation, because I kinda based this whole list on the concept of the mini-star having rampage, and bumping up the squad to 7 could really limit what I would get it against. It's a good Idea though, and would likely be more competitive in the long run.
@Madcat87: Thanks mate! and ya I still don't get why they nerfed the cybork bodies so hard, doesn't make sense, but oh well such is life.
@AegisFate: This is a legitimate concern. My hope is that I can slingshot them as far forward on the first turn as possible to the point where it won't really matter if they blow up or not. It's risky, but it wouldn't really be orks if it wasn't.
Alright, so I updated the list to make it ummm...legal.
Do you guys think I should drop the kustom mega-kannons in favor of lobbas? Something about the idea of my MANz footslogging around the enemy while my grots are firing blasts in the general area that would instagib them without any save doesn't sit quite right with me lol! though it does make it more orky.
Lobbas would be better for helping out against hordes or blob squads too. What do you guys think.
