So, can someone lay it out for me: What's the difference between Unbound and Apocalypse?
Even if your answer is a page reference, that's OK, I have the books, but I can't find the rules that set them definitively apart!

Apocalypse has no restrictions, whereas in Unbound there, strangely, are.
There's still the one LOW limit at 30% of your army, you can only take one fortification and some things are only Apocalypse. This is a bit of an obscure one, but for example minefields and artillery strikes in Renegades and Heretics.
Also, in Apocalypse there's not that stupid rule where troops score just as badly as everything else like in Unbound lists.

Stronghold Assault includes a fortification that is made up of one or more other fortifications. This neatly side steps that rule such that the one fortification limit virtually doesn't exist.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. In Apoc everything scores. There are 6 objectives and the side with the CLOSEST model of any kind gets the points. So, it's basically the same as Unbound.

Apoc has a bit more special rules than the normal game.
like for example you can arrive from reserves at any turn, you can spend strategic VP to return a whole unit/formation(?) after its been destroyed.
Also crazy Apoc tables, like the seismic one that removes a 2x2 feet part of the table.

Yeah this. The way you select your army might be very similar but the game itself is different.
