Knocking Imperial heads in the frontlines of Armageddon

Hello, I'm looking to add some unique style to my Ork army by using the Fantasy Boars as War Bikes and obviously converting them so that they're more appropriate for the timeline (I've never played Fantasy but I'm assuming they're of similar size).

Looking for some conversion ideas and/or pics of said models converted.

The boars themselves aren't the problem - they're just boars with some rough armour plating and/or cybernetic bits added to look tougher and more high tech. And presuming you use the Orc Boar Boyz kit (and not the Savage version), then you should be able to keep the rider legs and torsos, saving a lot of conversion work. Using 40K bits to fill out the rider details should give a decent non-fantasy look.

The biggest issue is how to mount the big guns - you either need some sort of bulky saddle so the guns can mount behind the rider (similarly to bikes), or have them held by the rider, either one per arm or some monstrous TL gun on one arm which can look a bit silly. Unfortunately the boar body is too small to mount guns in front of the rider.

Definitely mount the figures on bike bases to avoid close-combat arguments.
