I have a question for the Mantic fans here on the forum about Mantic's shipping, since I was potentially interested in getting something that is not at my gaming store at the moment (and no, I do not wish to bash them like I kind of did as a distasteful joke last time the last thread they did here. I do like their business model and want to try out there games, just some of the aesthetics are something to be desired. Now that this disclaimer is done, let me continue).

I have heard recently a while ago that they have been suffering shipping issues due to trying to tackle a lot with their kickstarters and what no, up to weeks for being delayedt. I was wondering if they managed to fix the issue or is it still occurring for them?
Thanks guys!

As far as I know, there are no Kickstarters shipping for them at the moment, so you should be OK. Deadzone Wave 2 ships next month/end of this month and Mars Attacks comes right after that though (or it might be the other way round), so it might be worth ordering soon.

You may want to try Miniature Market since they both discount and give free shipping if your order is over $99.

If it's Dreadball or Deadzone you're after you're probably in luck. MM have pretty much dropped Kings of War and Warpath, at least for now.

Just in case it's Deadzone Battlezones you may be looking for, MM doesn't have them listed under Deadzone. You can search for them under Battlezone.

Alright, I will keep that in mind. I guess it would make sense if they have to prioritize those who paid for the kickstarter and do not want to keep them waiting for long.

It was Kings of War and Warpath but for a couple small items, hence why I was asking up on that. I love getting stuff from MM since they are in the Mid-West like me and have a good incentive program but it is a shame they do not stock KoW and Warpath right now. :/ Although I was interested in some of the things for Deadzone and convincing to give my friend and I a go with Dreadball since we used to love playing Battle Ball when we were younger.

I just purchased from Mantic, so let me give you a bit of a warning. They take about five days to ship, and then it can take 10-15 days for the product to arrive (I'm waiting on my order right now). If you're in no big hurry to get your stuff, go for it. If you want to get it quicker and still get a bit of a discount I'd say go to The War Store. Not as deep a discount, and a flat $6 or $7 shipping cost as compared to MM, but I've ordered from them a fair bit and only once had a problem (which wasn't really their fault).

I'd say order from them before Mantic. The only reason I couldn't was that I ordered their web exclusive (as far as I know) Zombie Apokalypse army.

I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

EV speaks truth.
Warstore is my second choice. Less discount and you always have to pay flat rate shipping.

Etna's Vassal, was this the zombie army you were looking for?

Nope, it was this one:

Mantic was running a World Cup sale for the US where we got 25% off as a consolation for losing to Germany. 96 minis for $75 at the time. That's pretty much impossible to resist. I'm in the dog house with the wife for buying it, but when I explained the savings over GW she softened... A bit. Now I need to convince her that I need a pair of 1:35 scale Panzer IV D tanks to turn into zombified "Pulverizer" MBTs.

Cool.

Can save you money on the Panzer IVs possibly .

You'll need to repaint and there in 1/48, which actually fits better with Mantic's scale. $10/model and you can find them in the NCR.

Here's an ebay example (yes, you'll have to prime it dark and repaint but these work well for Bolt Action/WarPath scale).

I am not in a really big hurry to get a shipment quickly from them for the time being (I have a bit of a backlog to kind of finish first), but I will most likely keep that in mind if I do want to get it in due time possibly in the future.

Will chesck out the Warstore as well since it seems people have had good experiences with them.

It's exactly this. When a KS is due to ship, the warehouse usually concentrates on shipping nothing but that for 1-2 weeks so regular orders get put on the backburner. When this happens, or at least to the point that normal warehouse operations will be affected, Mantic always put out a blog post and update their Facebook page to say it's coming up and when the last "normal" shipping day will be.

Deadzone wave 2 is due to start shipping within a couple of weeks, but it is a slower burner than previous shipments so I don't think it's hugely affecting the day to day warehouse stuff. If it is expected then we'll see posts from Mantic warning us, but there haven't been any yet.

frpgames carries all the KoW and Warpath at about 20-30% off.
