In a few days the Rebel scum will face the awesome might of the Imperial Navy, when I team up in a 75 point-per-player doubles game. My colleague is taking a mini TIE swarm with an Interceptor along for some outflanking - but that leaves me without any TIEs for my 75 points. So the question is - bombers, or Interceptors & Advanced? Ordnance Away Scimitar squadron (TIE Bomber) - Proton Bomb & Proton Torpedoes Scimitar squadron (TIE Bomber) - Proton Bomb & Proton Torpedoes Scimitar squadron (TIE Bomber) - Proton Bomb & Proton Torpedoes Missile Mayhem Captain Jonus (TIE Bomber) - Squad Leader Scimitar Squadron (TIE Bomber) - Proton Torpedoes & Assault Missiles Scimitar Squadron (TIE Bomber) - Proton Torpedoes & Assault Missiles Elite Flight Darth Vader (TIE Advanced) - Marksmanship, Concussion Missiles, Hull Upgrade ALPHA Squadron (TIE Interceptor) ALPHA Squadron (TIE Interceptor) Thoughts and suggestions?

You could always do Darth Vader's trench boys.
Vader
Mauler Mithel
Backstabber
Upgrade them, and they'll be more effective than the Alpha Squadron pilots.

Unfortunately my squadron mate is using my TIEs, so I'm left with Interceptors, bombers and an advanced to select.

Is the use of squad leader not a good idea? I was thinking that a focus combined with Jonus's ability could be pretty deadly...
